Meyer Lemonade Rosemary Cocktails

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 1 cup fresh Meyer lemon juice (6- 8 Meyer lemons)
  • 4-6 cups seltzer water
  • 1 cup vodka

Make simple syrup by combining the sugar with 1 cup of water and rosemary in a saucepan. Heat over medium until the sugar is completely dissolved. Let the rosemary steep in the simple syrup as it cools. Strain simple syrup.

In a large pitcher, combine cooled simple syrup, Meyer lemon juice, and vodka. Then, add seltzer according to your taste. Add as little or as much as you want to achieve your perfect cocktail balance.

Serve over ice and garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig and Meyer lemon round.

  1. Where can Meyer lemons be found in Southern OR?

    • Usually Fred Meyer has them in stock and sells them in bags of 5-6. Also Trader Joes and sometimes Albertsons. It can be hit and miss with all of them, but they are starting to pop up in more produce departments a little more regularly down here in Southern Oregon.

  3. Both the Ashland and Medford Co-ops always carry Meyer lemons when they are in season.
